Apples varieties

Gala apples

  The first Gala apples tree was one of many seedlings resulting from a cross between a Golden Delicious and a Kidd's Orange Red planted in New Zealand in the 1930s. Many sports of Gala have been selected, mostly for increased red color, including the popular Royal Gala apples.

Gloster apples

  The Gloster apples were developed in Germany in 1951 from a cross between Richared Delicious and Weisser Winterglockenapf. A known German variety widely cultivated in Ukraine and harvested in October.

Ligol apples

  Ligol is a Polish variety of apples. It has been selected at the Research Institute of Pomology and Floriculture in Skierniewice. It is a winter variety of apples, which was created from the crossing of varieties of Linda and Golden Delicious. Ligol variety has been growing in Ukraine since 1995.
